May meeting minutes approved
Request for funds:
Hall of Fame night is 9/9/16. (Rockbridge game) Ceremony will be held at the park gym. Boosters pays for the food, brochures, etc. ($1,000 or less) We also pay for a plaque. Motion made and approved to continue sponsoring this event.
Charlie Kurtz Scholarships went to Brett Linkenhoker and Jesse Bartley. Not many applicants. We need to announce this at each sports Meet the Teams nights. We will also look at the application in the fall to see if it needs to be revamped.
Vacuum cleaner purchased by Coach Tibbs at Lowes. $131.83. (Field house money was used.)
Approximately 40 red Power Aids leftover that Coach G took to the park pool from our concession stand. The leftover ketchup and mustard was taken over there also. The money the basketball and football teams make over at the park pool concession stand they will give to Sherri to deposit into our account and we will earmark those funds so we can turn it back over to them for team needs. The nacho chips can be taken over there also as they will be out of date.
Another attempted break in at the concession stand and this time damage was done to the door handle. This was after realizing at the last Soccer game the roll up was smashed in from an attempted break in. Chris Tuttle was notified another police report was filed.
Concessions – we have few hot dogs in the freezer, some BBQ, popcorn, etc. The grease needs to be dumped and the cheese in the fridge needs to be thrown away.
Football practice starts 7/28/16, scrimmage (Western Albemarle & Covington) is on 8/12/16 (Might be here at Lee if the main field isn’t ready)
Augusta 9th is the 1st day of School.

8/23/16 – First Home Volleyball game
8/25/16 – JV football at Home Riverheads
8/30/16 – Buffalo Gap at home Volleyball

$19, 603.21 was the total for money given to the school for this year. (not food bills)
We need to purchase 2 more state rings for Iyon.
