Interact for Windows Tradanet Asynchronous/X28

Please note that if your software connection protocol is set for TCP/IP then you will be using a VPN connection and no changes will need to be made so the rest of the document can be ignored.

It’s recommended that clients using the X28/Async protocol try to change to a PPP connection, where possible, instead. X28 is an older protocol and more difficult to support due to the modem script complexities. In the future GXS will retire this service sooner than the PPP protocol. If you have any problems configuring this new protocol or can’t connect with it, please contact our Technical Support team on 08705 133 165, option 0, option 1.
