STARTING FROM TITANIC QUARTER

Option A – Registration FREE with a commitment to raise additional £50 minimum sponsor money. When you register sponsor sheets will be sent by post. (Leave yourself time to get sponsored).

Option B – Pre-Registration is £25 this includes the entry fee of £10 and a voluntary contribution of £15 which can be gift aided and must be received by post on or before Friday 1st July 2016 8.00 pm

Option C- Registration on the day is £35 this includes the entry fee of £10 and a voluntary contribution of £25 which can be gift aided.

What we provide:

  • Tea, coffee, juices are available at the starting area.
  • Sign-posted and marshalled route
  • Lunch in Cushendun. (Morrows top class chicken & vegetable soup, roll, banana, Mars Bar & Tipperary Water)
  • Breakdown Service – you will receive wristband with Mobile Numbers
  • First Aid – St John Ambulance has been organised for the duration of the event.
  • Refreshments of tea and doughnuts with plenty of “craic” at the finish.

On the Day:

  • Registration Opens TITANIC QUARTER at 7.30 am and closes at 9.30 am
  • Table 1 Pre-registered receive your lunch ticket, and deliver your sponsor money.
  • Table 2 Registering on the day fill in application and receive your lunch ticket.
  • PLEASE WEAR YOUR WRISTBAND ON YOUR RIGHT WRIST OUTSIDE YOUR CLOTHING TO ENABLE MARSHALLS TO SEE THAT YOU ARE WITH THE EVENT

I understand that this event takes place on open public roads and all Highway Code rules and regulations are applicable. I must ride in a safe manner and be mindful of other road users. The roads are not closed and no provision made for the safety of the cyclist. The Marshall’s are only there to indicate the direction of the route and I must rely on my own judgement whether it is safe to move. I agree that no liability what so ever shall attach to the Charity, Promoter, Event Sponsor any sub-committee or Official in respect of injury, loss or damage suffered by me in or by reason of the event however caused.

Fig. 1Terms & Conditions:

1. This is a charity bike ride and all entrants are expected to raise funds/make a donation for MADW

2. The event is not a race.

3. Start times are staggered from 8.00 until 09.30am.The event will terminate at 6.00pm. MADW reserve the sole right to change these details.

4. You are responsible for your own safety and actions. Cyclists under the age of eighteen or vulnerable adults MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.

5. Cyclists must follow the Highway Code at all times, and in particular, they should ride in single file and not in large groups. Please follow instructions from marshals and officials on the course. We strongly recommend you wear a helmet while cycling.

6. Cyclists should ensure that their bicycles are in a roadworthy condition.

7. Cyclists must be in reasonable health and fitness (consult your GP if in doubt) and should appreciate that cycling can be very strenuous and should be fully aware of their and their charges’ capabilities.

8. MADW does not accept any liability whatsoever for any personal accident, Injury, public liability, loss or damage to personal effects. Please ensure you have your own insurance.

9. Any cyclist withdrawing from the event either before or during the ride must notify MADW immediately.

10. You accept all responsibility for the security of your bicycle, all other equipment and all personal property with you on this event.

11. By taking part Cyclists confirm that all photographs taken during the ride may be used by MADW for their publicity of future events.

12. MADW reserves the sole right to amend ride details and to reject any applicant. Every effort will be made to inform Cyclists of any change we consider necessary to make.

13. The registration, fees, and donations are non-refundable.

14. By taking part you agree to these terms.

Pre Registered Draw

15.You must have:

A paid postal entry on or before Friday 1st July 2016 8.00 pm

A paid online entry on or before Friday 1st July 2016 8.00 pm

After this date you can still register and pay on the day (subject to availability) but you will not be entered into the Pre-Registered Draw.

Sponsorship money

16. To enter the competition for the most sponsorship money raised all money must be paid before the Sportive starts this can be during registration on the day of the event at the latest. Winners will be announced after official close of registration..

17. In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control or a participant unable to take part monies should be sent to the charity.

Cancellation

18. In the event of cancellation, for whatever reason, the purchase of the registration is non-refundable and non-transferable.
