2013 PALERMO SHOW SCHEDULE
* This year we have opted to divide the show schedule into two categories the way that the majority of the shows are divided. Below you will see shows under a listing named “A Circuit” and under the listing “B Circuit.” To learn the exact description of A, B, and C Rated Shows as well as Schooling Shows, please refer to the USEF Rule Book ( The important thing is that shows listed under the “A Circuit” may or may not offer classes for all levels of riders. The shows listed under “B Circuit” do offer classes for all levels of riders.
* You will see overlapping dates with some of the B Circuit Shows during an A Circuit show. The B Circuit shows that overlap with A Circuit shows will be attended with Osvaldo’s assistant trainers (either Genna or Bonnie) probably with a different shipping company. Osvaldo and possibly an assistant trainer will attend the "A Circuit" shows.
* Stabling vs. shipping in to A Circuit shows will be determined by the number of horses attending the show, the days each horse will show, and the distance to the show.
* Due to the number of horses of ours and of customers that may be showing this year it is imperative that we know well in advance which horses will be attending which shows for three main reasons: 1) training-preparation of horse and rider, 2) hauling-transportation to some shows may be given to a vendor (and therefore the shipping rate may be different-and may be required to be paid in advance), and 3) entry forms/late fees-most shows have a closing date of entries-Palermo will continue to fill out your entry forms IF you sign up and confirm at least three days before the closing date of entries AND leave a blank check made out to the horse show at the same time AND have all registrations required to show up to date with a copy of proof in Palermo’s possession. Palermo will not be responsible for any late fees to horse shows under any circumstances. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Many of the "A" Shows sell out of stalls...making a plan is imperative to reserve stalls...some (HITS) even offer discounts and/or package deals for stalls reserved in advance.
* This show schedule is tentative and subject to change…if there are additional shows you would like to attend in order to reach state championship or any particular finals qualifying goals, please let us know asap so we can make arrangements for training and shipping.
* In November, we will take our annual trip to Buenos Aires for the auctions…dates to be determined. You are welcome to come along!
* There are many shows not listed here that must be qualified to attend for…example-Devon, Penn National, Washington International, National Horse Show…these shows will be attended upon qualification.
* The rest of November and December shows are to be determined.
* If you wish to go to West Palm Beach for 2014, please confirm ASAP as we have a few barns to lease and we need to know the stall count and leave a deposit as soon as possible…late deciders can be accommodated; however, in order to have all the horses at the same facility, we do need to make reservations as early in advance as possible.
