Unit Summary: Students will draft, proofread, edit, and publish newsletters based on events, activities, and news regarding the SportsScienceAcademy. Each program in the academy will develop a quarterly newsletter to be given to students, faculty, advisory council, parents, etc.

Teacher will review the writing process, focusing on proofreading, revising, and sharing to produce a finished product.
Instructions to Students:
Students will attend their English class with first drafts of the articles that have already prepared for the newsletter. The finished product will highlight accomplishments of the SportScienceAcademy and will be shared with faculty, students, parents, advisory council members, middle school guidance counselors, and the community.

Students will work in pairs or small groups to do peer review of papers.
