Horses & ponies compete together but placed separately in all classes. Prizes to 1st, rosettes to 6th
Class 1: X-Poles 1 round, not against the clock. All clears receive rosette. May have assistance in the ring £5 entry
Class 2: Ride & Run/Dog Run X-poles. Rider jumps the 1st half of the course on horse/pony, dismounts & runs the 2nd half on foot with or without a dog. All dog entries receive a special rosette. Placings decided on least faults in the fastest running time
Class 3: 40cm 2 rounds. Riders clear in the 1st round will jump a shortened jump off against the clock
Class 4: 40cm Pairs 2 riders complete half a course each. Can also share the same mount
Class 5: Mini Accumulator Various heights from x-poles to 55cm, each fence has a points value. Riders have 1 minute to jump which fences they like in any order, a maximum of each fence twice. Optional joker fence of approx 65cm can be jumped at the end of the minute to add an extra 100 points if clear, 50 points deducted if knocked down. Placed on the most points in the minute or in the fastest time if all are jumped within the time.
Class 6: Mini Chase-Me-Charlie Starting height 30cm.

Class 7: 60cm 2 phase. Riders clear in the 1st half of the course will continue immediately onto
the jump off course.
Class 8: 70cm Pairs 2 riders complete half a course each. Can also share the same mount
Class 9: 70cm Speed Round. 1 round against the clock with an optional 90cm joker fence. Clear over the joker will deduct 5 seconds from your time. if knocked down 5 seconds will be added.
Class 10: 80cm 2 phase. Riders clear in the 1st half of the course will continue immediately onto the jump off course.
Class 11: Accumulator Various heights from 65cm to 90cm, each fence has a points value. Riders have 45 secs to jump which fences they like in any order, a maximum of each fence twice. Optional joker fence of approx 1m can be jumped at the end of the minute to add an extra 100 points if clear, 50 points deducted if knocked down. Placed on the most points in the minute or in the fastest time if all are jumped within the time.
Class 12: Chase-Me-Charlie Starting height 60cm
Classes 2-12 : £8 per class or 4 for £28 (same rider). WDPC members £6 or 4 for £20 (same rider).
£2.50 1st aid per rider also payable.

Conditions of Entry
1. All riders must wear approved protective hard hats*, fixed at more than two points. Chinstraps to be fastened at all times when mounted.
2. All competitors must be correctly dressed.
3. Objections may be raised by lodging £10 with the Secretary, which will be refunded if the objection is upheld.
4. Excess cruelty to horse or pony will result in disqualification.
5. Horses and Ponies will be considered to be ‘in the charge of the competitors’ and the committee will not be held responsible for any damage, loss or injury owing to accident or any other cause.
6. Age to count on the day
7. Competitors in lead rein classes may not compete in other ridden classes off the lead rein on the day.
8. Jumping classes will not be delayed for competitors in other classes. (competitors may be able to leave showing classes to jump)
9. We reserve the right to change, cancel or amend any class without prior notice.
*ALL RIDING HATS MUST CONFORM TO 1 OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING STANDARDS. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS & ANYONE FOUND TO BE WEARING A HAT THAT DOES NOT MEET ONE OF THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE. HATS WILL BE CHECKED & TAGGED IF REQUESTED. PLEASE ENSURE YOUR HAT COMPLIES BEFORE ENTERING.

Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of the event to which these rules apply, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars their contents & accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
HEALTH & SAFETY
The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of all persons & horse/ponies. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring & must obey the instructions of the organisers & the officials & stewards.
ANY INJURIES MUST BE REPORTED TO THE SECRETARY
