Vehicle Crossing Application Form

This form is to be used when requesting the installation of a new vehicle crossing, where a modification of an existing vehicle crossing is required or requesting that an additional vehicle crossing to be installed.

This application may only be completed and submitted to Council by the current owner of the property or agent acting for the current owner.

This document is not a permit or approval to conduct works on Council controlled land.

Fees and permits

Once processed and approved a road reserve easement works permit will be issued to the applicant with the appropriate fee ($240.50*) and associated security bond if required.

*Fee valid until 30th June 2018

Site plan

A site plan or drawing must be submitted with this application showing the proposed location or modification of the vehicle crossing(s). Please include the setback to any garage or carport together with the location of any street assets (i.e. street trees, poles, pits, etc.)

If the crossing(s) is to be located on a different street frontage, please include the name of the street frontage on the site plan.

The site plan may be a copy of a plan you already have had prepared by your builder or can be simply a sketch of your proposal. Include details such as distance from side boundary (or approximate distance from a fixed location such as a pit, pole or tree).

Notification of Permit approval will be processed within 10 working days.

You will be advised of the required permit fees and security bonds (if applicable) when a permit has been prepared.
