Zoning Board of Adjustment Minutes
Regular Meeting
October 6, 2011
The tenth regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Township of Bloomfield was held on Thursday, October 6, 2011 with a start time of 7:31 p.m. Chairman Michalski read the following statement:
“Notice of the time, date, location and agenda of this meeting, to the extent then known, was provided at least ten (10) days prior to the commencement of this meeting, in the following manner, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 231 of the Law of 1975 (The Open Public Meetings Act):
1.) By posting such notice on the bulletin board of the municipal building and
2.) By mailing such notice to the office of the Independent Press, Bloomfield
Life, Herald News and the Star Ledger.”
Roll call showed the following members present:
Mr. Rockwell, Mr. Balnicki, Mr. Debold, Mr. Bunin (Arrived at 8:07 p.m.), Mr. Sceurman, Mr. Del Guidice, Mr. De Carlo, Mr. Prince and Chairman Michalski. Also present was Anthony Marucci, Consulting Engineer to the Boards and Michael Rubin, Consulting Attorney to the Boards.
Roll call showed the following members absent: Ms. Barucky, Ms. Carroll and Nicole Brennan (Secretary to the Boards)..
Any and all discussion was recorded on audio tapes through the municipality and also through the Bloomfield Township Public Access TV Channel 35.
A resolution was memorialized for 72 Bloomfield Avenue-Moved by Mr. Debold, seconded by Mr. Balnicki.
CASE A
Application of Rafael & Heather Jimenez as Applicants & Owners for bulk variances and any such other relief as may be required from the Zoning Ordinance of the Township of Bloomfield to install a four (4)-ft. fence on the property’s side yard in a residential one (1)-family R-1A zone on premises known as Map 42, Block 1189, Lot 24 better known as 84 Parkview Drive.
Testimony and discussion followed.
A motion was made by Mr. Balnicki to approve this application. All voting
members voted yes on the motion and this application was approved.
CASE B
Application of Stanley & Suzanne Rogacki as Applicants & Owners for bulk variances and any such other relief as may be required from the Zoning Ordinance of the Township of Bloomfield to construct an addition in a residential one (1)-family R-1A zone on premises known as Map 19, Block 486, Lot 33 better known as 107 Orchard Street.
Testimony and discussion followed.
A motion was made by Mr. Debold to approve this application, seconded by Mr.
Prince. All voting members voted yes on the motion and this application was approved.
CASE C
Application of Deals as Applicant & Welco Realty, Inc. as Owner for variances and any such other relief as may be required from the Zoning Ordinance of the Township of Bloomfield to install signs in a CC Community Commercial zone on premises known as Map 16, Block 391, Lots 2 & 3 better known as 107-135 Bloomfield Avenue.
Testimony and discussion followed.
A motion was made by Mr. Prince to approve this application, seconded by Mr.
Prince. All voting members voted yes on the motion and this application was approved.
CASE D
Application of Ronnie Petagna as Applicant & Owner for bulk variances and any such other relief as may be required from the Zoning Ordinance of the Township of Bloomfield to construct a rear addition in a residential one (1)-family R-1A zone on premises known as Map 43, Block 1203, Lot 16 better known as 35 Elmbrook Place.
Testimony and discussion followed.
A motion was made by Mr. Debold to approve this application, seconded by Mr.
Rockwell. All voting members voted yes on the motion and this application was
approved.
CASE E
Application of Kevin George as Applicant & Owner for bulk variances and any such other relief as may be required from the Township of Bloomfield to construct a one (1)-story addition in a residential one (1)-family R-1A zone on premises known as Map 42, Block 1172, Lot 13 better known as 19 Irwin Place.
Testimony and discussion followed.
A motion was made by Mr. Balnicki to approve this application, seconded by Mr.
Debold. All voting members voted yes on the motion and this application was approved.
A resolution was memorialized for 72 Bloomfield Avenue-Moved by Mr. Debold, seconded by Mr. Balnicki.
