This year our weekly activities are focusing on issues we know services need help with and then referencing the NQS elements that apply.

Most activities will therefore have multiple NQS references.

In terms of compiling your QIP we suggest you either:

·  complete the QIP pages (tailor to your service and add progress notes) then copy and place under each element mentioned or

·  file under the ‘main’ element activity relates to (this will always be first on the QIP) and refer to this element and activity under the other elements mentioned eg main element is 4.2.2. other element is 7.2.3. File under 4.2.2. and make comment under 7.2.3 “see element 4.2.2 Date xx/xx/17.” We have included a new date column in the template

We have not included elements 1.2.3 (critical reflection), 4.2.2 (staff work collaboratively), 7.2.3 (continuous improvement) or 7.3.5 (policy and procedures reviews) as these will be included every week.

Note the activities ask room leaders to set two goals with their team. NQS Elements which we have not identified may apply to these goals. You will need to add these to the QIP. We have included two blank QIP pages you can use if required.
