Grand Manor Apartments
Built in 1909 the Grand Manor Apartments is one of the original Edwardian heritage homes built on 3rd street. This three story Edwardian Apartment is refurbished to reflect the 50’s era. Suites are clean and comfortable to make you feel right at home.There are peek a boo views of the city and harbour.
In the 1930’s during the prohibition era the lower level was used for distilling and gambling. Children who where paid to guard the door.The kids would do a special knock if there was any police came in the alley. Prior to the 1940’ the upper floors where used by the “working girls”. In 1949 it was converted from a single family home to 6 cute and cosy suites due to scarce accommodations for the soldiers returning from the war.
Grand Manor Apartments are close to all amenities, public transit and the sea bus. Within walking distance to tourist attractions, Lonsdale Quay, BCIT (Marine institute) and an abundance of shops, restaurants and coffee houses. Grand Manor Apartments are private homes, not a hotel. It is a place to enjoy new friends in a warm and comfortable informal atmosphere.

This heritage home is located in the heart of North Vancouver; we are one block to Lonsdale Avenue, 20 minutes to downtown Vancouver and 20 minutes to Horseshoe Bay ferries, to Vancouver Island (Nanaimo). Grouse, Cypress and Seymore Mountains for local skiing and hiking are 10 minutes. We are five minutes from Lynn Valley, Canyon Suspension Bridge and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. We are on the bus line if you choose to use the public transportation system.Stay with us on route to Whistler and Blackcomb in 1 ½ hour drive from here.
North Vancouver Recreation Centre and Karen Magnessen skating rink, Lions Gate Hospital, Capilano University and the BCIT Marine Institute are just 15 minutes away.
Daily and Weekly Reservations
Reservations require a one night deposit that can be made by Visa or e-mail bank transfer though the website.There is a minimum 3 day stay
We have a full two-week cancellation policy for a $20 processing fee.
Balance is to be paid in full two weeks prior to your arrival.
Monthly Reservations
Reservations can be made by Visa or e-mail bank transfer.
A security deposit of ½ month rent is required for a minimum two months stay.
One-month only rentals have an additional $100 charge.
A guest who fails to honour the BC tenancy agreement loses the security deposit.
Studio Suites – Lower Level
These apartments are cute and cozy bachelor suites that have everything you need for your stay. The suite comes with a private entrance and fully equipped kitchen; cable tv, phone and internet. Queen bed in the living room and bathroom with shower. Accommodate 1-2 people.

Beautiful one Bedroom suite has a peek a boo view of the city. The suite has cable TV, phone, and Internet included. Bedroom has a Queen bed and there is a single bed in the living room,comes with full bathroom shower and tub. Accommodate 2 or 3 people.

Two Bedroom Suite – Top Level
This great two Bedroom suite is good for a group traveling together. One bedroom has a single bed, the other a queen bed and the living room has a queen pull down Murphy bed. Cable TV, Internet, phone and fully equipped kitchen. Full bathroom. Can accommodate 3-5 people.

- Take the Skytrain to Waterfront station.
- From Waterfront Station take Sea Bus Northbound to North Vancouver
- At Lonsdale Quay Bay take 228 Lynn Valley Bus.
- Get off at 3rd and Lonsdale and walk east for one min.
