No. 798-F.T.—31 st March, 2005. --- In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 6 of the West Bengal Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (West Ben. Act XXXVII of 2003), the Governor is pleased hereby to specify the areas of different Charges mentioned by name in column (2) of the Table below with the code numbers specified in column (3) and territorial jurisdiction of such areas as specified in corresponding entries in column (4) of the said Table, over which the Assistant Commissioner of Sales Tax, the Sales Tax Officer and the Assistant Sales Tax Officer, as the case may be, posted in such Charges shall exercise jurisdiction .
