Test cases in practically all areas passed successfully for both Ascom platforms in conjunction with Ascotel i7.6. One particular type of scenario, involving a DECT handset rejecting an unattended transfer, failed towards i7.6 version 7648g1, but was later confirmed resolved in an early, unreleased version of i7.7.

Software version 1.6.9 on Ascom i75 handsets was a release candidate from the 1.6.x branch at the time of interoperability verification, while versions 7648g1 and 2.3.7 were released versions for the Ascotel i7.6 PBX and Ascom IP-DECT base station (IPBS) respectively.

For optimal integration, it should be noted that Ascom VoWIFI requires deactivation of “SIP Replaces Header” (RFC3891) on the IP PBX. Ascom HQ will address this issue in a future hotfix.

**) “Non-proprietary” SIP generally offers limited caller line identity (CLI) support. Ascom’s implementation relies on the IP PBX to provide such information.
