MEALS / The holiday is on Half Board.Mix of dinners at hotel (subject to season) and local restaurants. Leader to arrange and pay locally. Sunday (Monday for private March group) will have lunch instead of dinner. Restaurant for lunch prebooked by Pilar Carbo and paid locally by leader. EUR25pp (eur30pp for private group). In the low season, the hotel only offers dinners on Fri and Sat.

LOCAL GUIDE / The Garraf NP walk is guided and prebooked for the Sunday of the week as lunch can be taken at a good local restaurant (Monday for the private group). The guide Pilar or Rociohave been booked by the RWH office and will prebook the restaurant. Leader to pay on the spot. Pilar’s email for contact is udget has eur250.
ITINERARY:March 16-23 2017 Private Group

Day 1 Thursday:

Arrival and, depending on the time, a short orientation walk around Sitges

Buffet dinner in the hotel booked and paid for by RWH.

Day 2 Friday:

Coach to Sant Sadurni d’Anoia. Circular walk of about 10/12 km. Visit to a winery at 1130 and tapas lunch. Buffet dinner in the hotel booked and paid for by RWH.

Day 3 Saturday:

Coastal walk to Vilanova i la Geltrú.

Picnic lunch on the beach. Return by a more inland route – about 14 km (or clients may choose to return on the train at their expense). Free time in Sitges.Dinner prebooked at Triana restaurant and paid for by the leader.

Day 4 Sunday:

Free day to visit Barcelona or Tarragona.

Buffet dinner in the hotel booked and paid for by RWH.

Day 5 Monday:

Pilar Carbó guided walk pre-booked by Ramblers office – 250€ in the budget.

Route 2 is a linear walk of about 14 km lasting about 3.5 hours.

Lunch in a restaurant near the end of the walk – booked by Pilar and paid for by the leader. See menu in file. Coach or walk back to Sitges for free time.

Clients to arrange their own dinner locally.

Day 6 Tuesday:
Coach to Canyelles for circular walk via the heritage site of Sant Miquel d’Olerdola (picnic there) then return to Canyelles via Puig de l’Aliga. About 13 km. Coach return to Sitges.

Dinner at El Rincon de Pepe booked by RWH and paid. See menu in file.

Day 7 Wednesday:

Hired coach to Castellet for circular walk of about 16 km with a picnic lunch.Buffet dinner in the hotel booked and paid for by RWH.

Day 8 Thursday:

Departure.

Note: The October group is based around the dates for the Cavatast festival that takes place inSant Sadurní d'Anoia (Penedès) on the first weekend in October. This is a three day festival. Tickets are approx eur7pp and this allows for coupons to be swapped for various cava tastings plus tapas. Extra coupons can be bought as needed.The idea is that a walk is planned so that the group finishes in the town to attend the festival before returning to the hotel.
