Overall function of the role
To provide effective and efficient administrative support for the Low Carbon Workspaces (LCW) programme.
Key Tasks
- Set up and maintain structured paper and electronic auditable records for all documentation related to the grant application process compliant with European Regional Development Fund and Low Carbon Workspaces criteria.
- Respond to initial enquiries by phone and email, and perform screening checksregarding the eligibility of potential applicants’ projects, as required.
- Update Ngage Solutions Ltd’s customer relationship management (CRM) system as appropriate.
- Organise postage and return of energy monitors/loggers to (potential) grant beneficiaries.
- Assist the project team as required by liaising with (potential) grant beneficiaries to progress the return of required forms and information, and successful use and return of energy monitors/loggers,
- Support the Programme Manager and Project Officers in the preparation and delivery of Low Carbon Workspaces events.
- Record and write up minutes of internal meetings and, when required, at Steering Group meetings.
- Assist with the analysis of data.
- Support the team with the arrangement of meetings.
- Assist with updating social media and website content, and stationery / equipment orders.
- Undertake other administrative support duties as reasonably required by Ngage Solutions Ltd.
Person Specification:
Essential / DesirableExcellent and demonstrable communication skills / English GCSE Grade C or above
Excellent numeracy skills / Maths GCSE Grade C or above
Experience of working in a small team
A keen interest in economic development, environmental, and sustainability issues / Evidence of further or higher education in a subject regarding economic development, environmental, and sustainability issues.
Experience of administrative processes
A good telephone manner
Able to demonstrate a high level of competence regarding the use of Microsoft Office programmes (including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint). / CRM system / database management experience.
A full driving licence and access to a car insured for business use
