Exeter High School 50th Reunion
Join us in what will be the largest gathering of classmates since June 14, 1957. We anticipate 90 including guests/spouses at the Exeter Inn on Friday, August 10 and 70 folks the next day at a picnic on Swasey Parkway. All we need to make it complete is you. Festivities at the Exeter Inn will start at 5:30 PM with socializing in a private function room preceding a meal of Prime Rib or Baked Haddock…all spiced with comments from classmates and Emceed by Stan Yarosewick.
The next morning those who choose will meet at the new high school parking lot located at 315 Epping Road, Route 27, at 9:30 AM where Charlie Thayer has arranged a tour of the new facility. At 11:00 AM we will drive to Swasey Parkway where a tent and caterer will be waiting to make our weekend even better as we share some casual moments and a picnic lunch.
Those who can should bring a chair or two…or a blanket …to supplement the few tables and chairs that will be set up under a tent. We will have the facility until 3:00 PM giving ample time for visiting with friends of old as well as taking in the scenic splendor of the Parkway along the Squamscot River and a revitalized Water Street.
So add your name to our guest list. We already have Virginia Skelley and Ed Roundy as our Guests of Honor at the Friday evening dinner. We will also be joined by several classmates who shared many years in school with us, yet chose to go elsewhere prior to graduation. It will be a once in 50-year event so get your pen out and send a check for $50 per person for the banquet at the Exeter Inn and $20 per person for our picnic on the Parkway payable to:

We need your response by July 30 so that the Inn and caterer can prep for making our day one to remember. Your name tags will be your tickets to both events and will be held for pickup at the events.
A Class photo will be taken at the picnic. Send your recent head-shot photo with regrets or comments to be a part of the gallery of pictures on display.
Dinner:
Registration and the Social Hour will begin at 5:30 PM at the bar in the Exeter Inn. At 6:30 PM we’ll move into the dining room where we will be joined by two of our former teachers: Virginia Skelley and Ed Roundy. There will be no formal speeches, but expect some well chosen words from George Stevens and our MC, Stan Yarosewick. We’ll pause for a moment to remember our classmates who have passed on. Expect the party to last well beyond your normal bed-time.
High School Tour: Meet at the new high school parking lot located at 315 Epping Road, Route 27, at 9:30 AM. Directions: Leave Exeter on Epping Road, cross over Route 101 and follow old Epping Road, Route 27, for 1.5 miles to school on right at intersection of Birch Road. Or, follow Route 101 west to Exit 8 and turn right back toward Exeter on Route 27.
Picnic:
The picnic will be our opportunity to casually drift from classmate to classmate, renewing old acquaintances, meeting new spouses/guests/friends. If you sing, play an instrument or tell jokes, this will be your chance.
Win Hilton has secured tables and chairs and tent with for shade or rain. Claire Desroshes Audette, Judy Cadieux Cassidy and Carol Marston Rogers are working with the caterer. Expect a simple picnic menu of hot dogs, hamburgers, boneless chicken breasts, green salad, potato/pasta salad, baked beans, chips, condiments, fruit, cookies, or something to that effect and soft drinks. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED ON THE PARKWAY.
