2017Scholarship Information

Available Scholarships:

  • $1000 – 12thgrade student entering an accredited college or university(vocational or academic)
  • $ 300 – 8th grade student entering 9th grade at an accredited Catholic campus High School
  • $ 100 – 8th grade student entering 9th gradecoursework of a Catholic Home School Program

Requirements:

  • Registered parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church for a minimum of 1 year
  • Maintained a 3.0 GPA or grade averageof 80 or higher (transcript required):
  • College applicants – 9th through 11th grade and 1st semester of 12th grade
  • CatholicHigh School applicants – 7thgrade and 1st semester of 8th grade
  • CatholicHomeSchool applicant – 7th grade and 1st semester of 8th grade
  • Complete the Jean Davidson Memorial Scholarship Application
  • Complete Transcript Request Authorizationsubmit to school
  • CDA must receive transcripts by the application deadline of Wednesday, April 30, 2017
  • Essay - Neatly written or typed, not to exceed 500 words. Must not mention your name or make other identifying reference within or on the essay.
  • 2017 Topic - “Ways to Serve God Through My Catholic Faith”

Additional Information:

  • Scholarships will be awardedin May.
  • If no qualified candidate, no scholarship shall be awarded that year.
  • With proof of registration to a school of choice the scholarships will be paid directly to the school no later than September 15, 2017.

  • Attendance and Participation in Religious Education
