INTERNAL TRANSFER OF STUDENTS TO THE LAWS DOUBLE DEGREE
The Laws Double Degree allows students to undertake the Bachelor of Laws degree with a selection of another UniSA degree without having to apply for each degree separately through SATAC. Students enter the Laws Double Degree by applying for internal transfer on this form.
Who is eligible for the Laws Double Degree?
Any student is eligible to apply for the Laws Double Degree.
You must meet the entry requirements for both degrees you wish to study. The entry requirement is a grade point average (GPA) of 5, which is equivalent to a Credit average, unless otherwise specified.

Structure
The Laws Double Degree program comprises 40 courses totaling 180 units and includes:
- 24 courses from the Bachelor of Laws Program; and
- 16 courses from the Second Degree (except the Bachelor of Commerce which has 17 courses totalling 41 courses, 184.5 units).
Sixcourses (27 units) from the Bachelor of Laws Program are not prescribed, enabling double degree students to complete the Honours program (9 units), one additional elective (4.5 units) and the three practice elective courses (13.5 units).
Notes
- The Law Core courses are offered in Study Periods 2, 4 and 6.
2. The Law Core comprises 18 courses.
3. Students not seeking admission to practice law may substitute law electives.
4. Elective courses should be used to complete professional minors or as listed in the relevant program schedules.
5. The structure of this program allows students to complete the professional requirements in one discipline. Any courses undertaken in additionto those specified in the recommended schedule must be taken as non-award.
6. Students must contact the Program Director for advice about their program of study.
7. Students must complete the requirements of each degree as specified in the relevant program schedule toreceive both degree parchments.
