ELIGIBILITY: Swimmers are eligible to swim the Junior Circuit Meet provided:
a)That as of September 1, 2015, Junior Circuit meets are novice developmental level meets. MQT qualifying will serve as the de-qualifying time for Junior Circuit participation.
b)The focus age for the Junior Circuit is 12 & Under. However, we do understand that there will be some cases where 13 and over swimmers are truly novice. Please use coach discretion when entering 13 and over swimmers. We welcome the continued participation of the Dolphin Swim Club and Para identified swimmers.
c)They are currently a registered competitive swimmer with a year round programdesignated to the Southern Region of Swim Alberta.
d)Swimmers who are registered as non-competitive can enter and compete in ONE sanctioned competition meet per swim season.If they wish to enter any additional competitions they must be upgraded by the registrar, an invoice created, and paid prior to them swimming at the meet. If a swimmer competes a second (or more times) without being upgraded then the club is invoiced $100.00 per swimmer per meet.
SEEDING:
Junior Circuit meets will be swum as mixed gender, senior seeded, slow to fast.
MEET RULES:
All Stroke and Turn Rules, as set out by SNC must be adhered to.
ENTRIES:
Swimmers are limited to a maximum of four (4) individual swims. Meet management reserves the right to limit individual swims to 3 events pending appropriate session time outs. Entries are to be submitted using Hytek through Swimming Canada. 200 and 400 freestyle events can be run at the home club as a Time Trial the week of the Junior Circuit Meet. 200 & 400m results are to be submitted to the host club before the start of the meet.
RELAYS:
Relays will be run at this meet, however this event will not be sanctioned. Relay events will be noted in the meet package but not in Hy-tek.
ENTRY TIMES:
Entry times are required for all entries to facilitate timing of the meet by the meet manager as well as a de-qualifying check. NO TIMES will not be accepted. Coaches are to estimate a time for a swimmer.
ENTRY FEES:
Entry fees will be $35.00 per participant of the meet.
ENTRY DEADLINE:
Entries are due to the Meet Manager by 5:00 PM on Monday, October 5, 2015. Scratch deadline is noon on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Entries complete with entry fees are to be sent to:

Participating clubs are asked to volunteer one officiating shift per swimmer entered. Volunteer shifts can be sent to Jan Ellis & Joanne Aime at .
PRIZES:
All swimmers will be awarded with a Best Time or a Great Swim ribbon. Bell prizes will also be awarded for random heats.
HEAT SHEETS AND RESULTS:
Each club coach will receive heat sheets. Results will be posted on Swimming Canada within 24 hours of the meet unless there are unforeseen problems. If that is the case, each club will be notified.
*Meet manager reserves the right to limit entries in a Junior Circuit meet due to time constraints. Every effort will be made to ensure all entry swims are completed.
*The Killarney Swim Club is going green. We will no longer be printing heat sheets for sale. Each Killarney hosted meet will be on the “Meet Mobile” App and heat sheets can be viewed there.
