· CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RST.6-8.7
· CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.7.RP.A.1
CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.7.RP.A.2
Learning Target: I will understand the difference between closed and open-loop systems.
BELL RINGER: Google open-looped system. What does it mean? Give two examples of an open-looped system.
BEFORE/ENGAGE: Discuss Bell Ringer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvgen29Igiw
DURING/EXPLAIN: Go over PowerPoint. Students will complete activity. If time allows they will finish the previous assignment.
AFTER/EVALUATE/FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT: Upload into PLTW.
Tuesday:
COS: Students will learn and write pseudocode.
CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RST.6-8.3
CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RST.6-8.4
Learning Target: I can learn and write simple pseudocode statements.
BELL RINGER: Do you know what pseudocode is? If not, google it. Then, write this statement in pseudocode (it doesn’t have to be perfect!) Start the robot, drive forward, turn right, stop your robot.
