The EuroConnect is an International Networking Event hosted by an alliance of local Europeans and Americans.

The EuroConnect has brought together 100-130 local European and American professionals for our last 3 networking events. We always pledge quality over quantity; each of our Committee members is tasked with inviting their professional network. Our model of “good people know good [quality] people” is working for us. Our reputation has grown commensurate with our efforts - in the future, we’ll continually seek out larger venues to ensure that we can accommodate 200 guests for May, and up to 300 for our Fall Event.

To support our growth, we are now seeking a bright and motivated:

Web Design and Social Media Intern to start immediately.

We are seeking candidates with either experience or an educational background in: Web design, social media and graphic design to help maintain our organization's websites and online presence. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable industry experience.

The intern will work closely with the board committee of the EuroConnect learning how projects are developed, creating new ways to promote our event into other Medias, helping reach new quality audiences, and assisting in the creation of new marketing and communications strategies in order to find more sponsors. The intern will also assist with the coordination, discovery, adaptation and incorporation of online interactive programs (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

Be comfortable using different web design tools and maintaining social media feeds

Strong understanding of social media and social networking

Strong computer and organizational skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Applications

Must be familiar with: Drupal, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver

Be creative and contribute ideas in marketing/publicizing the organization

Excellent communications skills - verbal and written

Ability to multi-task and remain organized
