Position summary: Patient Research Specialists’ primary responsibility is to facilitate payment of patient accounts through the capture of information from various sources. The position has the greatest opportunity to influence revenue for both our clients and Intermedix. The position will report to the EMS Patient Research Team Lead.

Responsibilities:

·  Update patient demographic and insurance information from multiple sources.

·  Understand the best source of information when multiple, conflicting alternatives are available.

·  Meet routine deadlines and work schedules as well as timely and accurate completion of special projects and any other duties assigned.

·  Assist with processing in departments as directed by management.

·  Communicate trends and opportunities for improvement to management.

·  Ensure compliance with all company confidentiality policies including patient information, client information and team member information encountered while performing job duties.

·  Understand, support, enforce and comply with company policies, procedures and Standards of Business Ethics and Conduct.

·  Display a positive attitude as well as professional, polite, considerate and courteous conduct and treatment of others in the course of duties.

Requirements:

·  Bilingual Lithuanian and English.

·  Excellent computer operating skills.

·  Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.

·  Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.

·  Highly self-motivated and directed.

·  Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

·  Healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required.
