Explanatory notes

All tasks are to be carried out in accordance with enterprise procedures, the enterprise being the organisation carrying out the work. Outcomes and evidence requirements

Outcome 1

Evaluate and interpret test indications found using eddy current NDT methods and prepare written NDT inspection reports.

Evidence requirements

1.1Indications found during the inspection are evaluated and interpreted in accordance with enterprise procedures.

Rangeconfirmed, relevant, non-relevant, false.

1.2Indistinct indications are confirmed using other NDT methods in accordance with enterprise procedures.

1.3Inspection report is completed in accordance with enterprise procedures.

1.4Test results are certified in accordance with enterprise procedures.

Outcome 2

Directtesting personnel associated with the evaluation of the test results.

Evidence requirements

2.1Personnel performing eddy current NDT inspections are directed in accordance with enterprise procedures.
