  1. Call to Order

Ana Alvarez called to order themeeting of the Parent School Policy Committee at 1:15 p.m. on May 23, 2014 in the Eiland Elementary School Parent Center.

  1. Roll Call

Ana Alvarez conducted a roll call. The following persons were present:

Parents:Karla Arevalo, Laura Sanchez, Melissa Greene.

Teachers: Judith Wyble, Maria Cobio, Marie Petrie.

Students: Patricia Lazo, David Gamboa, Jesus Garcia, Jennifer Sierra.

Administrator: Mr. Greg Jones

b)Discussed & reviewed our current Parent Involvement Policy.

a)Showed samples of other schools’ Policy.

b)Gave parents & staff a packet with items discussed: Eiland’s Current Policy, McDouglePolicy and Kaiser Policy to use as samples when they are reviewing and revising the Eiland Policy.
