Dear Early Completion Option (ECO) Program Candidate,
Your application has been received and reviewed for admission to the Early Completion Option of the BTSA Induction Program. We must inform you that your application was not accepted for the ECO Option. Please accept this communication as formal notification that you have been recognized as being part of the LAUSD Full Induction Program (two year program).
There are several important items that we would like to ask you to keep in mind as you continue to fulfill the BTSA Induction Program requirements. One of your first tasks would be to inform your site administrator of your acceptance in the program. Remind them of the need to match you with a Support Provider. You will complete the FACT formative assessment activities with your Support Provider. Their assistance is the key to your success. Your experience within the FACT process is intended to allow you to systematically apply the best practices learned in your prior experiences and further extend your expertise as a professional educator.
Please be aware of the following important reminders:
- BTSA Full Induction Program participants agree to complete all program requirements by June 30, 2013.
- Participants are reminded that the Mid-Year Advisement Session is mandatory for all BTSA Program Participants. However, we recommend that you make plans to attend the January 5, 2012 (HarborBuilding), January 21, 2012 session set for MonroeHigh School or the final session set for February 11, 2012 at WestAdamsPrepHigh School. No additional sessions will be offered.
- We offer additional support and assistance via FACT Work Time which is offered on a monthly basis at five locations within our district. Please consider making use of this resource as needed.
