Bausch Advanced Technology Group (BATG) combines an extensive experience of over 35 years of engineering and manufacturing of machinery dedicated tothe pharmaceutical industry ranging from small batch processing to full packaging lines for syringes, cartridges, vials, bottles,ampoules and I.V. bags such as:

The changing market place in the pharmaceutical industry has shown the trend towards a new filling system, which minimizes the product contact part and allows the single use of product contact parts.

BATG developed a compact size peristaltic pump made completely out of stainless steel to meet Clean Room aseptic guidelines and offering high accuracy filling volumes ranging form 0.1 to 30 ml.

The re-design of the unit for larger fill volumes (5ml to 5,000 ml) involves a complete mechanical design (including detailing, manufacturing, assembly and testing) with a study of various alternative drive systems and layout configurations.

The goal is to optimize both the accuracy and the speed of the filling process at low and high throughput for the target fill range.

Conclusions of this research will allow BATG to propose to its customers the best combination of tubing and dosing system based on the specific requirements of the final user (e.g. single use or not, hours of production per batch, product viscosity, drug requirements…).
