Please
- Be at the field from the first game (8:00am) to the end of the last game (8:00pm, field may end earlier)
- First field marshal of the day – check in at the NHYLA tent, by 7:30am– need to get radio
- Water jug\cups are for the players and officials – call on radio if more water is needed
- Keep the field \ bench area clean – tell the coaches to clean up after their players
- Each field will be issued a radio
- Festival runs on a central clock – Starts on the hour
- Each game consists of two 25 minute halves, 5-minute halftime, and 5 minutes between games
- There are no time-outs, only the official can stop play for an injury or weather
- NHYLA will tell you when to start and end your game (and first half)
- NHYLA will relay time updates or check your watch – we run on time
- You are to relay time information to the coaches\officials – Start, 1min left…repeat whatever is sent over radio
- Radio is for emergencies, trainer, water, balls, or official’s questions
- Boy’s fields will have a stop watch to time penalties
- Game Rules (if the coaches or officials ask)
- Running Time, No Time Outs
- Boy’s game serve penalties (man up, man down) – same as during the season
- No Overtime (except Tier 1 – see below) – Win goes to higher seeded team
- Overtime is allowed for Tier 1 games.
- 1 v 4 and 2 v 3 – 1 four minute OT, still a tie then goes to higher seed
- L v L – no OT
- W v W – four minute OT periods until a winner.
- Any Issue (coaches, officials, parents) – please call NHYLA on radio
No Pets allowed on Londonderry School Grounds
