Anticipatory Set: Things to think about and discuss before you read—
1. A person becomes so caught up in a project that he or she neglects friends and family.
2. A person feels that another person has treated him or her unjustly.
3. A person feels lonely and rejected and wants to be liked by others.
4. What would it be like to be a scientist involved in cutting-edge research?
5. Have you ever awakened from a dream and not immediately recognized your surroundings?
