HONORS IMMERSION (formerly Honors Contract: Through Industry Immersion)

Participants in Honors Immersion have diverse interests and backgrounds, but they must all complete an individual research project involving these interests. Every project will present difficulties that the student must overcome. This process tests their creativity, autonomy, perseverance, and overall strength of character (this is sometimes referred to as a student’s “grit”).

In 500 words or less, explain your interest in business research and discuss why you are up to the challenge of designing and completing such a project. Please provide at least one example of a time you demonstrated “grit” in overcoming a difficult challenge.

Personal Video Prompt that is 3 minutes or less: The reward of doing research is the opportunity to explore a topic that you are passionate about. It is this passion that helps researchers keep moving forward when challenges arise, and drives them to share what they have learned. Please educate us about something that you are passionate about. It does not need to be business/education related! *If you are applying to Honors Cohort and Honors Immersion, you can use the same video prompt.*

Instructions: Create a 3 minute or less video that answers the above prompt while describing a little more about yourself. [Once the video is completed to your satisfaction, upload it to an Unlisted (not Private) YouTube video and include the URL link in the space provided below. Creativity is encouraged.]
