6th Annual SUMMER FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
Saturday 15th June and Sunday 16th June 2013.
Eldon Celtic Football Club invites you to take part in their 6thAnnual Summer Football Tournament being held at Rabson’s Recreation Ground (rear of Academy Sports Leisure Centre, Northumberland Avenue, Reading) on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June 2013.
The tournament will provide football for the age groups Under 7 to Under 14 inclusive.
Teams playing in the U7's to U11's age groups can be both boys and girls, just boys or just girls. The U12's to U14's age groups are for boys teams only.
The Age Groups are as for 2012/13 season.
The Rabson’s venue offers both 7 a side size pitches and 9 a side size pitches and so we intend to offer an unique opportunity for U10’s, U11’s & U12’s to play 9 a side tournament football on 9 a side size pitches.
The tournament’s format will be:

U7’s, U8’s & U9’s 7 a side 7 a side Maximum 9 players £25 per team
U10’s, U11’s & U12’s 9 a side 9 a side Maximum 11 players £30 per team
U13’s & U14’s 7 a side 9 a side Maximum 9 players £25 per team
The schedule for the age groups is:
Saturday 23rd AM - Under 7’s & Under 10’s
Saturday 23rd PM - Under 9’s & Under 13’s
Sunday 24th AM - Under 8’s & Under 12’s
Sunday 24th PM - Under 14’s & Under 11’s
The Under 7 and Under 8 age groups will play in non-competitive groups.
All players in these age groups will receive a participation medal.
If you wish to take part, please complete the attached Application Form and return to the address below with payment of the entry fee per team made payable to ELDON CELTIC FOOTBALL CLUB. We will offer a discount if you enter 2 or more teams; please contact me for further details
Applications will be accepted on a “First Come” basis so you are advised to return your Form and Payment as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
On receipt of your application, I will either confirm your entry or return your payment should an age group be oversubscribed.
I will send out location maps, team registration forms and Tournament Rules during the last week of May 2013. This information will also be available on the club website: WWW.ELDONCELTIC.COM from 1st March 2013..
