"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." – John 8:12

1. Have you ever felt “locked out” when it came to access to God the Father? If so, explain how you felt and why:

2. What do you think of Jesus’ exclusive claim to the only way to the Father (John 14:6)? Does it make you uncomfortable? Why or why not?

3. In what ways is knowledge gained when we come to the light of Jesus Christ? In what way are we benefited by that knowledge?

4. When you compare your own life to the light of Christ does it effect you in a positive or a negative way? If negative, what can you do to change that?

5. Consider the facts concerning Jesus being the light of salvation – how can knowing and acting on these facts change your life, your church, your world?
