MEET INFO:
The entries were prepared by Greg Olson; Emily Dent; Cindy Hemsworth; Rob St Jean & Kristi Walter!! The swimmers were entered as follows: ALLHYCAT swimmers were entered in their in their 2016-2017 “life time best” times in ALL events.If the swimmer HAS NOT competed in a specific stroke and/or distance, the swimmer was entered in“NT” (NO TIME}.If you have any questions regarding this policy/procedure, please talk to Greg Olson!
The swimmers are eligible to swim four (4) events per day. If there were more than four (4) events offered that day, theHYCAT swimmers were entered in what was considered their best events by the HYCAT Coaching Staff ORspecific events that the HYCAT Coaching Staff wants the swimmer to swim! If you have any questions regarding this policy/procedure, please talk to your coach or Greg Olson!
The HYCAT Coaching Staff would like {wants} ALL HYCAT swimmers {and parents to participate} to wear HYCAT logo swimwear ONLY at the meet. ALL swimmers have ATLEAST one (1) HYCAT logo t-shirt so PLEASE wear it for ALL 3 days of the meet to PROMOTE the HYCAT Swimming Program = THANK YOU!!! A HYCAT team suit {solid navy blue} and team cap is REQUIRED of ALL HYCAT swimmers, both “Recreational” and “Travel” Teams!!!
The HYCAT Coaching Staff would like to “see” ALL swimmers BEFORE and AFTER they swim their events! The HYCAT Coaching Staff will be located on the pool deck near the bulkhead in the middle of the pool area. See your coach BEFORE you see/talk to your parents!
The HYCAT Coaching Staff would like very much for the swimmers to give their “very best effort” and swim the events that they have been entered in the meet. We ask that the parents support & encourage their child(ren) to compete in the events that the swimmer has been entered = THANK YOU!!!
The HYCAT Coaching Staff EXPECTS that ALL swimmers will participate in the warm-ups as outlined on pages #1/2, including ALL 08-Under swimmers! As outlined, the “stretching” program is OPTIONAL but the HYCAT Coaching Staff strongly recommends/encourages the swimmers to participate in this program to “fully” warm-up before their events! A member of the HYCAT Coaching Staff will be pre-sent to supervise/monitor the stretching program if swimmers are present.

The meet is being sponsored by our sister club HYCAT @ Huntington. The HYCAT @ Huntington parents will be performing a very large portion of the work, including back-up timers each session; announcer; runners; concessions; Coach/Official Hospitality; sale of Meet Program/t-shirts and the set-up/ clean-up for the meet.
HYCAT @ Charleston’s home meets we have assigned our sister teams some work assignment so it will be expected that HYCAT @ Charleston will be asked/assigned to do some work, most likely back-up timing. Please volunteer to help if requested!!!

ENTRY FEES:
As a member of the HYCAT Swimming Program, the swimmer is required to pay a $10.00 “swim meet fee” for every swim meet that the swimmer enters within the WV LSC. The fees are listed below ... please drop off your payment @ the HYCAT Swimming Office. If paid after 12/05/2016, a $10.00 “late payment fee” will be added to your bill. Thank you!!!
