Last month, the Latino community lost a beloved friend and colleague, Terry Roderick-Alderete. She was an exceptional woman who touched many lives and organizations from San Francisco to San Jose and every place in between. Terry served on HCAC's board of directors for over 20 years and we are dedicating its 2013 Scholarship Awards Luncheon in her memory as a way to celebrate the many contributions she made to our Latino youth. The event will be held on Friday, May 3rd from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.at the Newark-Fremont Hilton Hotel.
HCAC is also establishing a scholarship in Terry's name that will be awarded annually.
