Major Delivered Projects:
- Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME) Datacenter Relocation:Successfully managed infrastructure migration of DME’s primary datacenter aided with a reliable fallbackBCP/DR strategy within stipulated budget of $500K as per schedule with zero downtime by downsizing operating facility of 80 racks to 3 racks with state-of-art technological equipmentthat contributed to 75-80% cooling cost savings annually.
- Systems Migration of DME products to Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) trading platforms: Successfully managed a team of over 35 members to deliver large-scale strategic initiativecomprising of technological accessibilities, regulatory & compliance matters, legal & service agreements, market data modifications and customer support thatresulted in seamless transition of DME products to CME trading platforms. With a budget of over $1 million, the project was conducted over duration of 6 months spanning 4 different time zones (Dubai, Singapore, Chicago and New York). This enhanced global exposure of DME products in more than 80 countries. DME was honored with 'Best innovation by an exchange in the field of customer service, MiddleEast’ award from FOW, a leading global derivatives magazine.
- MS Dynamics GP 2010ERP implementation:Spearheaded ERP roll out by ensuring system customization was in line with DME’srequirements. The project’s budget was $125,000 and other custom applications such as Expense Claims Automation and Purchase Requisition forms were integrated into the ERP as part of the project.
- Deployment of MS Dynamics CRM 2011: Led enterprise-wide customization and adoption of MS Dynamics CRM 2011 to assist DME front office by providing them adequate training in using strategic tools such as customer records management, sales force automation, campaign management to achieve productivity improvements.
- DME Membership Application: Successfully led all phases of software development lifecycle (SDLC) to deliver industry standard custom software program enabling customers to apply for membership at the Exchange. Accomplishment of this project resulted in shortened application submission/approval processes from “months” to “days” and has generated revenue gains of $1.5million till date.
- DME Chinese Microsite: Successfully spearheaded and delivered design & development of the DME website in “Chinese Simplified” language keeping up with the popular global trend of the availability of website in more than one language. Attained growth of customer base in China by 32.27%post February 2014.
- “Go-Green” Initiative: Managed implementation and operation of SharePoint 2010 document/content management system across DME, establishing a secure and robust foundation for the organization’s ‘paper-less environment’ initiative with embedded business process workflows.
- NetSuite Implementation in Tejari: Successfully involved in the customization, implementation and support of NetSuite (E-Commerce, CRM & ERP modules) for Tejari UAE and its franchisees in different countries. The project had a budget of $1 million and the implementation provided significant operational & business benefits to end-users in 12 countries.
- Tejari Link E-Commerce Portal: Supervised project team (10 members) to lead the design & development of a highly flexible, comprehensive integration Module to extract, transform and transfer information related to Tejari’s 100,000+ customers among different business systems.
- Tejari Corporate Portal: Managed implementation of Tejari corporate website, including seamless system integration with Tejari’s ecommerce products. This project is showcased as a case study on Microsoft’s website.
