Minutes - Regular Meeting

January 15, 2016

A regular meeting of the Hideaway Bay Lake Shores Water Supply Corporation was held Friday, January 15, 2016 at 172 CR 1743, Chico, TX. The meeting was called to order at 7:56p.m. by Mr. Grace.

Moment of silence waived by Mr. Grace.

Secretary Report:

Mr. Nelson welcomed the Wildleys to the meeting. They recently built a home in Hideaway Bay and look forward to becoming full time residents. William filed a nomination form for election to the board. He will be included on the proxy and ballot for one of the two board seats up for election. Minutes from December 2015 meeting reviewed. There were no amendments. Motion to approve by Mrs. Brandon, second by Mrs. Fluharty. No further discussion. December Minutes approved.

Treasurer Report:

Financial reports and historical billing reports reviewed. Mrs. Fluharty reports that all billing accounts were current as of the end of the month. Mr. Nelson reported the corporation Franchise Tax filing was accomplished for 2016. He also presented a financial balance sheet for FY 2014. Motion to approve by Mrs. Brandon, second by Mrs. Fluharty. No further discussion. Treasurer report approved.

Old Business:

Mr. Nelson reported on the timeline for the annual meeting. Mrs. Fluharty to send the proxies, agenda and second invitation to members to attend the annual meeting during the next few weeks. Mrs. Brandon reported the meeting location had been secured. Mrs. Fluharty reported the new TCEQ mandated water testing model started this month.

New Business:

Mrs. Fluharty reported the 4th quarter water quality report is now submitted online instead of by mail and demonstrated the differences to the board. The annual water loss audit is due and Mr. Nelson will complete and submit it.

Next meeting: Immediately following the annual meeting on Saturday, Feb 20, 2016 at the Runaway Bay Civic Center meeting room.
