The next event in conjunction with NHS Southwark will be on the topic of New Approaches to End of Life Care will be held on Thursday 18th September 2014 at the Southbank Centre. SELDOC cover will be available between 12.30-6.30pm. The event will cover
· ‘One Chance to get it Right’ and the five priorities of care – this replaces the Liverpool Care Pathway
· Discussion and your views on what good end of life care looks like, how we could achieve this and what support and tools are available
· Guidance on Do Not Attempt to Resuscitate (DNAR)
· Understanding Mental Capacity responsibilities when someone is dying
Due to limited capacity we are limiting places to 2 per practice in the first instance
