Functional Area: Endowments Management / Update Transaction Authorization
Purpose
Use this procedure to authorize a business partner to perform specific securities transactions for unitized pools.
Trigger
Perform this procedure when a new business partner or new business partner role is established to authorize appropriate security transactions.
Prerequisites
A business partner must exist.
Menu Path
Use the following menu path to begin this transaction:
·  Select Accounting Corporate Finance Management Business Partner Special Functions Standing Instructions Transaction Authorization to go to the Create/Change Transaction Authorization: Initial Screen.

·  The R/O/C column in the field description tables below defines whether the field is required (R), optional (O), or conditional (C).
·  On certain screen you may have to scroll to view some data entry fields.

Procedure
1. / Start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code.
Create/Change Transaction Authorization: Initial Screen

2. / As required, complete/review the following fields:
/ Field / R/O/C / Description /
BusPartner / Required / An organization, individual or group of individuals in which you have a business interest, or with whom you maintain a business relationship
Example:
APOOL
Company Code / Required / Organizational unit within Financial Accounting
Example:
UC
3. / Click .
Change Organization: XXXX, role XXXX

4. / Perform one of the following:
If You Want To / Then
Add an authorization / Select in the Auth. column to the right of the Trans. Hierarchy you want to update.
Delete an authorization / Deselect in the Auth. column to the right of the Trans. Hierarchy you want to update.
5. / Click .
Change Organization: XXXX, role XXXX (2)

6. / Click until you return to the SAP Easy Access screen.
/ The system displays the message, “Changes have been saved.”
7. / You have completed this transaction.
