September 22- “Oprah, Mariel Hemingway and Bobby Williams:Finding Soul Connections”

Oprah sits down with Academy Award®-nominated actress and bestselling author Mariel Hemingway, and her eco-adventurer boyfriend Bobby Williams to explore mind-body-spirit wholehearted living. It’s an inspiring conversation about finding your balance, seeking adventure, and learning how to live a simpler, more vibrant life, which was the impetus for their new book “Running with Nature.” Hemingway has made it her life’s mission to promote spiritual and physical health, topics Mariel also explores in her compelling real-life film “Running from Crazy,” coming to theaters soon. September 29- “Oprah & Steven Pressfield: Unlocking Your Creative Genius”

Author of “The War of Art” Steven Pressfield joins Oprah at her Maui retreat for a delightful and uplifting conversation on breaking down the barriers that keep us from realizing our purpose in the world. Mark Nepo has taught poetry and spirituality across the country for 40 years. Diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma in 1987, Nepo underwent a major spiritual journey that inspired his later work. In this very touching interview with Oprah, filmed at her Maui retreat, Nepo, now a cancer survivor, will talk about his inner transformation. October 20- “Oprah and Mark Nepo: Listening to the Soul”

October 27- “Oprah and Bestselling Author Dani Shapiro: Finding Devotion”

Oprah sits down with the bestselling author of “Devotion”Dani Shapiro, to discuss one of life’s biggest questions: What do you believe? When Shapiro’s young son began asking her questions like this one, she didn’t know how to answer him. It led to what she calls a “spiritual crisis,” and ultimately a quest to discover what she truly believed. Jack Kornfield, one of the leading Buddhist teachers in America, shares with Oprah his profound path of mindful presence, starting with his graduation from Dartmouth College in Asian Studies in 1967 and joining the Peace Corps for Public Health Service in northeast Thailand, home to several of the world’s oldest Buddhist forest monasteries. After teaching in centers and universities worldwide and leading International Buddhist Teachermeetings with the Dalai Lama, he returned to the United States and co-founded theInsight Meditation Societyin Barre, Massachusetts, and theSpirit Rock Centerin Woodacre, California, where he currently lives and teaches. In this interview, Kornfield shares the surprising secret to growing your spiritual practice and introduces Buddhism 101, the basic principles and practices involved in mindful living, which ultimately can lead to peace, compassion, and even Nirvana.

November 10- “Oprah & Karen Armstrong: Losing Faith, Finding God”

Oprah sits down with bestselling author and TED prize winner Karen Armstrong who shares her groundbreaking insights into religion and faith. Schultz will share the leadership lessons he’s learned while guiding this iconic brand for more than two decades. November 24- “Oprah &Francine and David Wheeler: After Sandy Hook”

Francine and David Wheeler tragically lost their 6-year-old son Benjamin in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in December 2012. With astounding grace, spirit and wisdom, the Wheelers sit down with Oprah to share how suffering can be a catalyst for transformation and how their loss has led them on a journey to inspire both social and legislative change, reminding us that nothing is guaranteed so we must make the most of the present moment. They also share what they have discovered about the significance of genuine listening and mutual understanding between people of different values.
