Regulations
Existing Regulations are found at . These have been developed using long existing format that will be maintained. The FSU Board of Trustees must approve all changes to Regulations. Any proposed changes to existing regulations should be submitted to fsu showing proposed revisions in a Word document using Times New Roman 12 pt. Proposal for repeal of unneeded regulations may also be submitted.
Policies
The template, next page, should be used to draft or revise a Policy.
After review and preliminary approval by responsible office and university official, it should be sent in Word using Times New Roman in 12 pt. font size to for legal and format review including proper titles and numbering. If the draft is an amendment to existing policy, both a marked and clean version should be submitted. Additional space may be used and the template can be downloaded in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format. If it is an amendment, the drafts submitted must include both a markup version and clean version.
There should be clear indication in the transmittal that the draft Regulation/Policy has been reviewed and approved by its responsible office.
The transmittal shall specify the appropriate preliminary approval. Any suggestions after such legal and format review will be returned to the originating office for any further revisions and final review.
When final approval of the responsible official is achieved, the Policy shall be noticed on the central Policy website as provided in FSU Policy 2-1 for final adoption.
