Building Construction
The risk was built in 2004 & 1960 of joisted masonry construction material. It was not built with reinforced concrete. It has concrete floors on the first floor. The interior walls are drywall, and the interior ceilings are drywall. It has a wood joisted roof with a tile covering. There are hurricane straps on the roof for added wind protection. There are no firewalls built into the buildings between the units.
There were no structural flaws noted. There was no evidence of possible sinkhole activity.
There are no Bays. There are no lifts.
Wiring
The wiring is standard Romex in conduit to circuit breakers. The circuit breaker boxes were blocked and not easily accessible. There were extension cords being used around the building however it did not appear to be excessive.
Heating and cooling
The heating and cooling to this building is supplied by central heat and air conditioning. The units are mounted on the ground and are secured. There is no heating or cooling in this building.
