  • Origami, Zentangles, and Mandalas Circles
  • Origami is theartof paper folding. The goal is to transform a flat sheet square of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. Modular origamiorunit origamiis apaper folding more sheets ofpaperto create a larger and more complex structure than would not be possible using single - pieceorigamitechniques. Each individual sheet of paper is folded into a module, or unit, and then modules are assembled into an integrated flat shape or three-dimensional structure by inserting flaps into pockets created by the folding process. These insertions create tension or friction that holds the model together. The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing. Mandalas Circles are patterns inside a circle that are meant to be colored. Enough different colors should be used so the same color never touches the side of a space with the same color in it. What is the least number of different colors that can be used to accomplish this goal?
