What the MIMIT awards are
- Funds that can be used to improve patient outcomes by bringing innovative technology developments to fruition
- For all categories of award, proposals must address an unmet clinical problem through the development of a new technology or innovative solution, or novel application of existing technology
- Funds that can be used to purchase or implement existing 'on-the-market' solutions within clinical practice
- Research awards
- The D4D Award 2013/14 (£10,000 of funding to be awarded)This call will open later in 2013
- Proposals must address clinical problems that need a technological or innovative solution. D4D is particularly looking for proposals in the areas of assisted living, renal and urology and in particular in paediatrics.

Please note that we are not looking to identify opportunities to implement existing ‘on-the-market’ solutions within clinical practice, but if your idea is at a very early stage, we may still be able to consider your application.
