Brian Goleski

Golf Course Superintendent

Noyac Golf Club

51 Wildwood Road

Sag Harbor, NY 11963

October 20, 2011,

Dear University Alumni,

My name is Brian Goleski, I’m the superintendent of Noyac Golf Club in Sag Harbor New York. I am contacting you concerning any interest in available internship applicants for the 2012 season.

The position is officially called “Assistant in Training.” Duties will coincide closely with work that is consistent of the assistants already in place. Daily the applicants will learn how to: schedule and manage a full working crew, develop spray regimens and perform applications, monitor the golf course for water needs, and scout for disease pressure. Though the vigorous training, there is always room to grow into assistant’s position rapidly, as senior assistants become superintendents. Benefits include free housing in a new employee house, golf, uniforms, free lunch, and close proximity to the ocean.

Our golf club is located approximately seven miles east of Southampton and directly south of the Great Peconic Bay. Noyac has an exclusive private membership with individuals that enjoy top playing conditions. We pride ourselves on keeping tournament style playability at our course throughout the entire summer. Currently we have a staff of twenty one including myself, two assistants and a mechanic. We just installed a new state of the art Rain Bird IC system. We are continually working on capital projects to improve championship conditions every year.

Interested applicants should be aspiring to become superintendents with a strong work ethic. Students who are interested should send a resume and cover letter to the contact information listed on the job posting on the second page of this letter.

Sincerely,

Brian Goleski
