A) PROJECT INTERIM REPORT

Notes: part A includes report on the progress of the project and it will be assessed against information and data provided in the Annex1 – Description of work.

Part A shall not exceed 10 pages (without attachments).

A1) Publishable project summary – English version

Publikovateľné zhrhnutie projektu – slovenská verzia

Part A1 shall be provided in the English and Slovak language. In case of doubt of interpretation Slovak version prevails over the English version. This part shall provide the concise overview of project implementation. This part - of maximum 2 pages - should be of suitable quality to enable direct publication and it shall not contain any sensitive data.

Please include a summary description of the project objectives, a description of the work performed since the beginning of the project, a description of the main results achieved so far, the expected final results. This part shall be updated in the following reports.

Please include also, as appropriate, diagrams or graphs illustrating and promoting the work of the project and the address of the project public website (if applicable).

A2) Work progress and achievements during the reporting period

Please provide a concise overview of the progress of the work in line with the structure of Annex1 of the Contract on the Provision of Funding and Grant Agreement (Description of Work).

Provide the following information:

-  summary of tasks achieved,

if applicable, explain the reasons for deviations from Annex I and their impact on other tasks and activities as well as on available resources and planning,

if applicable, explain the reasons for failing to achieve critical objectives and/or not being on schedule and explain the impact on other tasks and activities as well as on available resources and planning,

list of all the deliverables due in this reporting period, as indicated in Annex1 of the Contract on Provision of Funding and the Grant Agreement. If a deliverable has been cancelled, please indicate it and provide a justification. If new deliverable is proposed, please indicate it and provide a justification.

list of all activities undertaken to publish and disseminate the project results (publications, abstracts, workshops, lectures, seminars, website presentations, press releases, popularization texts, etc.),

list of all grants/projects which the Visiting Researcher has applied for (in structure: grant/project scheme, grant/project type, title, whether the Visiting Researcher is PI or co-investigator, relation of the grant/project to the SASPRO project, status: submitted without evaluation results, approved and funded, rejected, etc.),

describe the impact of the SASPRO project within the reporting period on the scientific career of the Visiting Researcher, impact on the Host Organization, international cooperation, research area, etc.

A3) Short evaluation of the conducted work by the Scientist in Charge

In this section the Scientist in Charge shall assess the project performance from the supervisor's point of view.

A4) Attachments – part A

Please provide attachments as they are specified in the Guide for Beneficiaries, part 8.1.7.

copies of articles submitted for publication in scientific magazines and other outputs of scientific activities realized within the project during the period subject to the interim report.


B) INTERIM REPORT ON THE PROJECT FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

Notes: Part B of the interim report shall provide information on the usage of financial resources transferred to the Beneficiary for the implementation of the project in the respective reporting period.

Specify and briefly justify the usage of contribution to the research costs in relation to the work plan and the budget specified under Annex1 of the Contract/Agreement. Any deviations from the set work plan and budget must be duly justified.

B3) List of the additional financial resources

Please provide information on the additional financial resources used for the implementation of the SASPRO project (if applicable). Provide information in the structure: type of the resources (e. g. type of the project, grant; in case of the project or grant, please provide information on the title, scheme and PI of the given project or grant), amount of money used to cover the costs related to the SASPRO project, the thematic relation to the SASPRO project.

B4) Attachments – part B

Please provide all necessary documents specified in the Guide for Beneficiaries, part 8.1.6. Documents already submitted to the project officer need not to be provided within the interim report. For more information, please contact your project officer.

copies of the project bank account statement for the period in question,

documents on transfer of financial resources between the project special bank account and the beneficiary's common account,

the employment contract with the visiting researcher,

the document on separate accounting of accounting operations for the period in question,

documents on the manner of Overheads calculation.


C) CONFIRMATION OF THE TRUTHFULNESS, COMPLETENESS AND CORRECTNESS OF DATA

Notes: Part C shall be signed by all persons stated in the Contract/Agreement and their Annexes - Authorized representative of the Beneficiary (with the official stamp of the Beneficiary), Scientist in Charge and the Visiting Researcher.

Declarations:

-  The research conducted within the SASPRO project is carried out in accordance with the EU and Slovak legislation and ethical principles stated in the Contract on Provision of Funding, the Grant Agreement and the Guide for Beneficiary.

-  The Visiting Researcher was employed for the project implementation in accordance with the EU and Slovak legislation, European Charter for Researchers – the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers and the principles of the SASPRO Programme.

-  During the project implementation the researcher is entitled to free access to background and foreground knowledge available to the Beneficiary.

-  The interim report represents an accurate description of the work carried out in this project for this reporting period.
