*Copies of supporting documents for all accomplishments and titles

MUST be sent with any entry for the Sieger, Champion and Working

Classes. The USRC Registration Certificate may be accepted as proof of

titles earned and hip certification if the required information appears on

the Registration Certificate.

• All entrants will receive acknowledgment of your entry from the

host club in writing/e-mail prior to the show date.

• The decision of the judge is final. No appeals are possible.

• Limit of 60 dogs per day including BSTs.

revised waiver online for all event and membership forms.

BST Prerequisites Information for Owners & Handlers

The BST will be conducted according to the USRC regulations

1. The judgment of the Kormeister or Judge is final. No appeals are

possible.

2. BST critiques are not official until checked, recorded and signed

by the Head Breed Warden and/or the Administrator of Records.

After the BST's are approved, the original copy will be forwarded to

the dog’s owner.

The BST paperwork must be complete and available for inspection

on the day of the test. If this is not done, the BST will not be

signed and will be deemed invalid. The dog may retest.

3. Both the owner and handler must be USRC members.

4. The owner and/or handler of any dog are liable for any damage

caused by his or her dog.

5. The dog must be registered with USRC.

6. The dog must be tattooed. A microchip will be allowed in lieu of a

tattoo provided the handler supplies a working scanner.

7. The dog must have a USRC recognized hip certification.

8. The dog must have passed the Schutzhund BH.

9. The entry form for the BST must be sent to the Host Club before

the entry closing date.

Other BST Information

1. The USRC Standard for the Rottweiler (FCI Standard

#146/16.01.1996/GB) will be used for judging this event.

2. Males shall be judged first, followed by females with females in season

last.

3. If a dog fails the character or protection phase of the BST two more

attempts may be made. If the dog does not pass the BST on the third

attempt, it will be deemed unbreedable. No further attempts will be

allowed.

4. All USRC sanctioned events for conformation shall be restricted to

registered Rottweilers only.

5. Dogs with Restricted USRC Registrations or AKC Limited Registrations

may not enter a BST.

6. Dogs born in countries where docking is forbidden by law, shall be shown

with the tail left in its natural state. Effective for all dogs born on or after

June 1, 1999. If a dog is presented at the BST and has a tail, which has

been cut in violation of these rules, the dog shall not be allowed to test

7. There shall be no preference in critiquing dogs with docked tails or for

dogs with tails left in the natural state.

Copies of the following documents must be submitted

with BST entry.

1. Copy of USRC Membership Card for both owner and handler.

2. Copy of USRC Registration for the dog being entered.

3. Copy of scorebook showing titles earned, scorebook number, and

full name of dog. If the BH is earned after the close of entries, a

copy of the scorebook showing BH titles must be presented to the

BST Secretary on the day of the Breed Test.

4. Copy of USRC recognized Hip Certification.

5. Copy of any prior BST attempts.

6. Weight Certificate dated within 30 days of the test date.

7. A copy of the USRC Registration Certificate may be accepted as

proof of titles earned and hip certification if the required

information appears on the registration certificate.

The following ORIGINAL documents must be

submitted to the BST Secretary on the day of the

Breed Test. Entry into the BST will not be accepted

without presenting these originals prior to taking the

test.

1. USRC Membership Card for both owner and handler. A copy of

the membership card will be accepted on the day of the show.

This exception to the original document requirements applies to

the membership cards only.

2. USRC Registration Certificate for the dog being entered.

3. Scorebook showing titles earned (must show BH), scorebook

number and full name of dog.

4. USRC recognized Hip Certification.

5. Prior BST attempts.

6. Weight certificate dated within 30 days of the test date.

7. The USRC Registration Certificate may be accepted as proof of

titles earned and hip certification if the required information

appears on the Registration Certificate.

Adult Classes

Open Male/Female- For all Rottweilers 24 months and older without a USRC recognized Schutzhund or IPO title, Championship or USRC Sieger/Siegerin Title. Once a dog is eligible for the Champion, Working or Sieger/Siegerin class, the dog may not enter the Open Class.

Champion Male/Female - For all Rottweilers 24 months and older who have earned a Championship. This includes AKC and CKC Champions, International FCI Champions and any champion of record from a country whose Championship was awarded by an FCI recognized kennel club. Those dogs entering the Champion class who are eligible to be awarded the USRC Sieger and Siegerin title must be USRC registered. When a dog is eligible for more than one class (i.e., Champion, Working and/or Veteran), the dog's owner determines the entry.

Working Male/Female - For all Rottweilers 24 months and older with a USRC recognized Schutzhund or IPO title who have not earned a USRC Sieger or Siegerin title. The dog must be USRC registered or apply for registration at the show.

USRC Sieger/Siegerin Class - For all Rottweilers 24 months and older who have earned a Sieger or Siegerin title from a USRC National or Regional Show or have been awarded the USRC Universal Sieger or Siegerin title. Dogs eligible to enter the USRC Sieger or Siegerin class may not enter the Open, Champion or Working class; however, the dog may enter the Veteran Class if age permits.

Veteran Male/Female- For all Rottweilers 7 years or older on the day of the show. Those dogs entering the Veteran class who are eligible to be awarded the USRC Sieger or Siegerin Title must be USRC registered.

IMPORTANT SHOW INFORMATION

1. Dogs born after June 1, 1999 in countries with anti-docking laws must be shown

with a natural tail.

2. The judgment of the Kormeister or Judge is final. No appeals are possible.

3. Copies of required documentation for the BST, A/LBST, Champion, Working, USRC

Sieger/in classes must be submitted with entry

and Originals must be brought to the show and be available for inspection before

entering the ring.

4. The USRC Registration Certificate may be accepted as proof of titles earned and hip

certification if the required information appears on the Registration Certificate.

5. Dogs with restricted USRC registrations or AKC limited registrations may not enter

a USRC show.

6. Spayed or neutered dogs may not enter a USRC BST or show with the exceptions of

Veteran Class.

7. Effective Jan 1, 1998, all dogs competing for a Sieger or Siegerin Title must be

registered with USRC. Dogs not registered with USRC prior to the show may

compete for a Sieger or Siegerin Title after completion of a USRC Registration

application at the show.

8. Hip Certification Number or rating, pass or fail, must be included on the entry form

for all entries 30 months and over.

9. Dogs with missing teeth will be excused from the ring.

10. Males will be judged first.

11. Dogs are shown in natural stance; no hand stacking is allowed. No food is allowed

in the ring; toys may be used at the judge’s discretion. Double handling is

encouraged.

12. Once a dog is eligible for the Champion, Working or Sieger/Siegerin class, the dog

may not enter the Open Class. When a dog is eligible for more than one class, the

dog’s owner determines the entry. If a dog is eligible for the Sieger or Siegerin Class

the dog may not be entered in any other class except Veteran.

13. A handler may request that a dog be moved to the Champion, Working or Sieger

class after the close of entries. This is only possible if the dog is already entered in

the show catalog. Original documents, supporting the move to a different class

entry, must be presented to the Show Secretary. This must be done prior to the

start of class in which the dog was originally entered. A copy of the paperwork

should be brought to the show site and be given to the Show Secretary for club

files.

ADDITIONAL SHOW INFORMATION

1. This is a German Style Show.

2. Event is being held outdoors, rain or shine.

3. No dogs are allowed to be tied out at the show-site or ringside.

4. Please use designated areas to exercise your dogs and clean up after them.

5. Adult classes will be moved long enough for the judge to evaluate the

movement and fitness. You may change handlers as needed.

6. Dress is informal, wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

7. Bring your own chairs and anything else you deem necessary for you and your

dog’s comfort.

TROPHY DONATIONS

Any and all Trophy donations are greatly appreciated. All donations

Trophy donations for the Best Puppy, Youth Sieger/Siegerin, Select

Adults will be $75 & Sieger/Siegerin will be $100 each. Class winner Trophy donations will be $50 each.

PROTECTION TOURNAMENT

A protection tournament will be held on Saturday after the confirmation Judging. No titles are needed to compete although your dog should know the routine.

The cost is $40.00 per entry.

Trophies will be awarded for 1st – 4th place.

The routine will be a SchH1 protection routine.

The protection tournament will be for Rottweilers only.

We will be using “Sieger Central” this year for our entries and tracking. By using Sieger Central, you have the ability to type in you own info. What you type in will be used in the catalogue and on your critique. (Only USRC recognized titles will be listed)
