Specifications of the Motor Vehicles

The Delegation of the European Commission has the intention to purchase the following:

-2 x SUVpassenger vehicle, with a sitting capacity of minimum 5people incl driver.

The minimum specifications for each type of vehicle include, but are not limited to, those listed in the tablebelow for each type of vehicle.For each requirement listed under the sections below, you must state the equivalent for the vehicle that you propose. Additionally, a full colour catalogue or brochure of the vehicle proposed must be presented together with the tenders.

The evaluation of the tender shall be based on the following:

1)Price :60%

2)Environmental Quality Criteria: 20%

Extra points will be given to the most environmentally friendly vehicles proposed based in CO2 emission and fuel consumption

3)Maintenance, Repairs & Warranty:20%

Extra points will be given to those vehicles presenting a longer warranty period, a comprehensive maintenance program as well as the overall waiting period for delivery of the vehicle

The contract will be awarded to the tenderer obtaining the highest 'Best Value for Money' ratio using the following formula :

BVM = Qp+Tp / Fp x 100

Where :

BVM=Best Value for Money

Qp=Quality points

Tp=Technical points

Fp=Financial points (price)
