8.   Preparation Information (Include complete Instructions for document preparation)

The Users Guides shall be provided to ensure consistency of procedures for the systems under this Statement of Work throughout the lifetime of the contract. The information to be contained within the Users Guides is to be found in the ensuing paragraphs.

A.   Operations System User Guide. The Operating System User shall contain the

following information:

1. Documentation of commercial off-the-shelf operating system.

B.   Instructor Handbook. The Instructor Handbook shall be provided as a source

book for training instructor personnel for the SSTF . It shall contain the

following information:

1. A description of access procedures to the instructor applications software.

2. A description of use of instructor applications software.

3. Instructor command and control module operation.

4. Malfunction control module operation.

5. IOS utility operations.

6.   Model status module operation.

7. Definition of all Malfunctions.

C.   SSTF Recon/Ops Tools User Guide. Operations manuals shall be provided as a

source book for use of the Off-line Tools in the SSTF. Users Guides are for Recon

Tool, Scripting Tool, Simulation Event Record Tool, Data Logging Tool,

Productivity Monitoring Tool, Statistical Analysis System Tool and Operations

Configuration Management. They shall contain the following information:

1. A description of access procedures to the application software.

2. Instructional Guide which will walk the user through the basics of the

tools.

3. Error conditions and explanations.

4. Input and output data formats.

5. Description of user privileges.

6. Reporting capabilities.

D.   Software Architecture Handbook. The Software Architecture Handbook shall

provide detailed definition of system programming instructions to support

individual programs and the software system as a whole. It shall contain the

following:

1. Instructions for programming the system.

2. Software problem analysis procedures.

3. Data requirements for software problem analysis.

4. Pertinent information determined during system operation.

5. Internal and external program relationships.

6. Data flow control and branching information concerning each program.

7. Subroutine details.

8. Abnormal termination’s, error detection, error reporting, exception

reporting etc., specifics.

9. Value ranges for input and output data.

10. Condition codes.

11. Timing Sensitivity details.

12. Security and privacy instructions.

E. SSTF SaC Users Guide

1. Select Software for download.

2. Initialize systems.

3.   Error Messages.
