Dearest friends,

Last night we were rescued by the arms of the Lord in a wonderful way. We were barely asleep, about eleven o'clock, when a fire broke out in our depot at KPN. This is one of the things we did not expect at the end of 2016 that is already difficult for us economically and logistically.

Thank God we have recorded no physical damage, for our children were already asleep. Awakened by the sounds of fire, they had much emotion and awaited our instructions to show them the behavior to be held in such a dangerous and difficult situation. Danny and I did not really know what to do in this tragic situation with all those children, but we had put our trust in God to lead us. And the Lord has given us the wisdom to gather them together in a corner to leave care to our good neighbors to help us circumscribe the fire to master it only in the depot and extinguish it before the arrival of the firefighter's arrival forty-five minutes later. I must admit it was a very hard blow for us at "Kay Papa Nou" because this fire devoured everything we had as a reserve to feed the children, all their clothes, toiletries, books and notebooks, uniforms , The drugs we were collecting to bring relief to the south of the country already ravaged by Hurricane Matthew. And other important materials such as water pump, electric generator etc.

We have seen all that we had carried away by the flames, yet we firmly hold our trust in God to help us out of this enormous difficulty. We want to say as Job: The LORD has given, and the LORD has taken away; May the name of the LORD be blessed! Do not forget to mention us and the children of KPN and U.H, in difficulty in this year-end celebration in Haiti, in your prayers

May our Living GOD bless you all,

David and Danny.
