GENERAL INFORMATION
All people named on the form must be members of British Orienteering and of a club affiliated to SOA.
Children: There is no reduced rate for children. Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult and must sleep in the same room as their parent or responsible adult.
There will be no charge for babies/toddlers using own cot in parents’ room; 2 cots are available from Glenmore Lodge at £10 each for the weekend. Please indicate in the Notes section if you need one.
Space will be available for children to play (indoors and out), but it is up to the parents to arrange supervision amongst themselves.
Bookings: we will reserve 2 places per affiliated club for their nominated attendees, until 31st March. The remaining (approx. 60) places are open to booking by individuals. Do not send money with your form; you will be invoiced and your place(s) will be confirmed when your payment is received.
Accommodation: Most accommodation will be in twin rooms or family rooms; if you book as a couple we will allocate a shared room, while individuals booking alone will be paired with someone of the same sex. Some accommodation will be in chalets for 8 or 4 people; these will be allocated as we consider appropriate.
Fees: SOA is subsidising this weekend as reward and recognition of the vast amount of time and effort that so many members put into the sport. Fees include attendance at sessions, though there will be a small charge for roller-ski-ing. We reserve the right to request detail of your volunteer input to orienteering.
Standard fully residential rate from Friday pm to Sunday pm: £35 per person. Options to arrive on Saturday or to be non-residential (limited) are available, as shown in the table below. NB. Dinner on Friday evening is not included, but excellent bar meals are available at your own expense in Glenmore Lodge.
All fees must be paid in advance; if you subsequently cancel, a refund will be made only if your cancelled place is filled.
