·  administered the counseling program for a multi-state educational enrichment program addressing psychological, social, and educational needs of gifted and talented adolescents;

·  trained staff and teachers in crisis counseling, outreach and assessment serving over 200 youth each year;

·  planned and facilitated educational summer youth retreats and educational enrichment initiatives; and

·  served as program officer for anonymous donor and distributed funding to special projects within the organization.

Accomplishments:

·  managed and supervised more than 200 cases in a voluntary foster care agency whose unit was focused on initial planning for children entering foster care;

·  provided staff development in areas of permanency planning, child well-being assessment; and preparing for court testimony;

·  wrote grant for and received funding of $500,000 from NYC Community Development Agency, to design and implement a violence intervention and prevention program (i.e. “Youth Action League”) for Central Harlem youth;

·  wrote grant for and received funding of $750,000 from New York State Department of OMRDD/OMH to design and implement a discharge planning initiative (i.e. “Intensive Case Management Services”) expanding existing mental health services to children in foster care and their families; and

·  conducted program evaluation of foster care outcomes and violence prevention programs.
