We remind you that if this is the case, the student must wear an IDEA jacket in order to comply with our uniform policy. Remember, our focus is on instruction and it is important to eliminate any distractions. Students may wear non-IDEA jackets to and from school and during recess, but they must remain in their backpacks throughout the school day.

Grade Team Updates

KINDER CORNER

Dear Kinder Parents,

We are excited to announce that we send out a Kinder newsletter every Monday! It has all the information you’ll need for the week! Please check your scholar’s folder on Mondays for the Parent Weekly and the Kinder Team Newsletter, as well as your child’s daily behavior tracker.

Thanks!

The Kinder Team ______

FIRST GRADE CORNER

Dear First Grade Parents,

Welcome back! The year is flying by and we would like to say thank you for being an AWESOME team and family! Our team would like to request that each scholar bring 2 or more boxes of crayons to replenish our first grade supply, it would be greatly appreciated. Also a helpful tip is to always keep your own stash of supplies at home in case you have to cut, glue, or color at home. Those supplies would stay at home and would not come to school, we always want you to be prepared at home to complete your life work.

Please remind your scholars of the IDEA core values and why it is important to always follow the rules! Check your scholars Tracker every day, as that is how we communicate behavior to parents.

First grade is the best, and this is why we are going to have PERFECT ATTENDANCE until Winter Break so we can win a BIG Lou's pizza the Friday before break! Please help us win by having your scholar at school on time every day!

Thanks,

1st Grade Team

______

SECOND GRADE CORNER

In 2ndGrade, the STAR student of the week was Kayla Woods and the CORE Value Winner was Maria Bernhardt- congratulations! In Science, we learned about Rocks and Minerals. We are asking for Kleenex and paper towels donations from each student. Thank you!

Please be on the lookout for our next progress reports, which will be sent home next week! The 6thGrade also has an Ugly Sweater Party coming up before Winter Break, so your Wolf is working hard to have enough Merits to attend.
